Fused Glass Taster Workshop (Jewellery)

About the Workshop

This workshop offers a basic introduction to glassworking and in particular, glass fusing. Try your hand at cutting glass, and create your own fused glass item using pre-cut pieces. Each participant will get to take home a Pendant, pair of Earrings or cufflinks that can be worn. Once you’re done with your creation, place it in the kiln for firing. Then, enjoy a tour of the family-run glass workshop where you will see various glass equipment and materials. Finally, return to the mini gallery to view glass art pieces made by local and international glass artists and craftsmen over the decades. Pieces require time to cool and we will be fixing on the jewellery attachments to your pieces for you. It will be available for collection three days later, or will be delivered to you ($5 delivery fee). This workshop is for beginners and no prior experience is required.
