37 Years of Breaking Boundaries
Synergraphic is about finding new synergies between materials, art and function, and people from different expertise to create works of enduring beauty. Since the company’s formation in 1986, Synergraphic has remained at the forefront of cutting-edge design.
1986 — 1995
Synergraphic opens as a design studio, exploring studio glass as a material for art and design. Florence and her team works from an artistic perspective, creating pieces that were handmade and on a small scale.
1986
Starts out as an interior design studio
1987
Prime Minister’s Office project for etched glass works
1989
Becomes a sole proprietorship
1990
First overseas project: Hotel Cambodiana, Phnom Penh. Brought in first kiln to Singapore
1991
Introduces art in homes with Nobel Design
1992
First breakthrough project: Bamboo Wall for UOB Executive Suites
1993
Becomes a private limited company; organised Singapore’s first national glass art exhibition Passage of Evolution; launched Florence, a jewelry line at Tangs
1995
Launches Paradigm Glassmart in Park Mall, a one-stop source for all glass needs
Becomes a distributor for Italian antique mirrors and acid-etched glass from Spain
1996 – 2005
The second decade sees Synergraphic purchasing commercial space and expanding its workshop. There is a more systematic approach to the business, and clients such as decorators and architects have more design and make options for their decorating and construction projects.

Major project: Crystal Glass Pyramid, Jerudong Park, Brunei
1997
Moves into Changi factory
1999
Launches LamiArt and other product lines including sandblasted textures, kilnformed series, and the GEMS Collection
2002
Sets up a hot glass studio in Chengdu, China; opens SynerG Showroom at Mosque Street
2004
The first to set up a hot glass studio in Singapore and the region
2005
Launches Synerscape: Art in the Garden at The Legends, Fort Canning
2006 — 2015
With accumulated expertise and experience to work on complex projects that combined glass with other mediums, Synergraphic is recognized in the design industry for innovative solutions without compromising on creativity. The acquisition of a UV printer lends more options for printing text to photographs, even replicating textures such as stone on glass.

In 2016, we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a retrospective exhibition and an Anniversary book to document thirty years of pioneering work in glass art. Since then we have been transforming the business inside out, with an emphasis on People in order to sustain and drive the growth of the business. While we continue to expand into other markets such as Sri Lanka, we have also been growing the residential segment in Singapore in our continuous endeavour to Transform Spaces with Glass and Art.

30th anniversary celebrations with exhibition and launch of Anniversary Book

Won first project in Sri Lanka, Stained Glass Jewel Dome for Private Residence
2020
Launch of ArteGlas and other product ranges namely Earth Tales Vol. II and Bianca Board
